Bird Watching...

Posted by banjo_robb on Monday, May 25, 2009

...is such fun this time of the year, especially with the nesting families outdoors.  We have an Eastern Phoebe nest attached to the wall above our back porch door, & also a wooden nest with a couple of  Black-capped Chickadees on a tree in our backyard.  Both nests have extremely devoted parents.  Hopefully some viable young 'uns will come of all this!

At my family cabin, that`s one of the interesting things to do is watch the birds come and go to the feeders. My parents absolutly love watching the birds. We have Chicadees, Finches, Orioles, Robins, Nuthatch, some sot of yellow canary, Downie woodpeckers, red headed wood peckers, Wild Turkey. and on and on.
