I am still on my clawhammer banjo journey, and I love clawhammer style so much. It has the best feeling in the world sitting outside playing on my skin head banjo with nylon strings. I have some good news. After all these years and my kids getting so old, my husband and I decided to have a baby. My kids are 15 and 11 so this is like having a second wave of kids. We are really excited because I am officially pregnant. I am 34 now and although it is not old, I was just so much younger when I had kids.
I have been laughing because I play my banjo and say that I am playing for my baby. I plan on immersing this child into the world of music for sure. My little folk baby. :)
I finally made a new video. I was playing Ragtime Annie on my favorite 100 year old Pollman clawhammer banjo. It has skin head and nylon strings. It is shorter scale and perfect for my body. This is probably the best thing I have ever bought on Ebay. It is the only one I play.
