he doesn't need to take it as he gets to play it a couple times a set. he plays it so hard it's almost a half step flat by the time i get it back. I'll post smiley ones later.

What instrument is the woman next tou holding. Five or six tuning pegs, open slot head, frets; you have all the other standandard instruments covered is it some sort of bass?

it is a ned stienberger electric cello/bass. It does have five strings. My mom choose it because she is pretty short and it is a smaller scale while still getting a good semi-acoustic sound.
