I guess most of us have a lot to think about these days. I am at a different place in my life that somehow seems foreign. I don't even look like Darrell anymore. I see my age listed here on my profile and think it surely must be wrong. Not being vane, I never was the leading man type. It's just that it seems to have happened all at once.
I have written about my current battle against mersa. I am on the second round of powerful meds but this thing can adapt and resist with the best of them. This is a seriously dangerous killer if it manages to get in the bloodstream.
Along with the problems I already had this is a real tough situation. Blisters appear in different places, hurting and leaving a scar when they finally move on. Where they move to is what worries me. Mersa looks for those with weak immune systems, like me.
For this reason I have not been here as much because I feel so bad. I still love everyone and will not forget all the kindness shown to me. I wish I could spend the day with all of you. That is if I ever stop being contageous. It's a lousey feeling having to worry about everything you touch hoping nobody else gets sick.
I have been through a lot so I believe I will make it through this setback too. Thanks for listening and being there for me.
Love, Darrell.

I will definately fight. I am getting a little weak at times. The high dosage of the medicine they gave me makes me feel weird (er).
I appreciate all of you so much!
