Jammed Sat. nite in Elizabeth , Il. with Ray, Judy, Alisa and my wife, Jill. After many years of trying it looks like Jill is finally getting comfortable with jamming with my musical buds. This is a very good thing. What a joy to be married to a fiddler!
I'm making progress on learning my current obsession, which is Cherokee Trail, by John Hermann. I bought the CD on which that tune resides, "Songs from the Mountain". I eagerly await its arrival. Much thanks to Tobias for posting the link to the 2006 Clifftop video clip with Cherokee Trail on it. In the last week I must have listened to that clip at least 100 times!
