Hi again folks,
Thanks to everyone who came out to the San Diego and Los Angeles-area workshops and shows. One highlight of the weekend for Megan and me was getting the chance to meet Julie Newmar, the actress/dancer. She was in the audience for our Granada Hills show. Amazing! She's still got it - I knew exactly who it was when she walked through the door!
This week I fly to the Boston area with my 16 year old daughter Corey. We're going to check out the Berklee College of Music and I'm teaching a banjo lab class there on Wednesday. After seeing a few other Boston-area schools, we'll head over to Putney, Vermont to see my son, who attends Landmark College and spend some time visiting with our good friends Bruce and Kelly Stockwell (aka "Jamball Queen").
The following week, I'll be spending a week on the road with my good friend Steve Smith as a guest in his band Hard Road. We'll be playing through New Mexico and up to southern Colorado for the Durango Meltdown. The final weekend of the month finds BEML back on the road in Chicago, Milwaukee and Madison for shows and workshops.
Then I have the entire month of May at home. Wow.
Talk to everyone soon,
Bill
