Hi folks,
Fiddler Megan Lynch and I will be performing four concerts across Virginia and in Kitty Hawk, NC this week, along with teaching this coming Friday and Saturday at Richie Dotson's two day banjo camp on the beach in Kill Devil Hills. We hope to see some of our Virginia friends this week! Here are all of the details:
March 25: Richmond, VA: BEML performs in an intimate house concert at the home of Scott Hammer in Stratford Hills (close to the Hugenot Bridge). $18 admission includes hors d'oeuvre's, coffee and wine. Seating will be limited to 35 patrons so advance reservations are highly recommended. Leave a message for Scott at his home phone 804-323-4288 or email to scott.k.hammer@verizon.net to save a seat.
March 26: Norfolk, VA: BEML in concert at the Five Points Community Farm Market, 2500 Church St. (at 26th St.). 7:30 p.m. Tickets $10 in advance by visiting the Market or by phoning 757-857-1794. Learn more about the Market by visiting http://www.5ptsfarmmarket.org/home/
March 27: Kitty Hawk, NC: BEML in concert at the Outer Banks Music Showcase Theatre, 3848 N. Croatan Parkway, 4.5 milepost on Friday night at 7:30 p.m. This concert is open to the general public in addition to workshop participants. March 27-28: Kill Devil Hills, NC: BEML teaches banjo and fiddle workshops with Richie Dotson at a Bluegrass Banjo Camp and Workshop Weekend. Banjo instruction is on Friday from 1:30 to 5:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with two separate beginner and intermediate tracks available. Workshop fee is only $95 for the entire weekend! Bill will teach sessions at both levels as part of this workshop. Megan will also be conducting fiddle workshops on Saturday only.
