How about a picture on the banjo hangout with you playing a banjo instead of a mandolin?
Also, more information about your banjo instruction would be helpful in terms of style - clawhammer, bluegrass, whatever???

Eddie is a great banjo picker and writer of banjo books/tabs, etc. Can't go wrong with his books/tabs, etc.
The picture looks like the one that is on his beginner mandolin book -- whiich is also very good and easy for a beginner to grasp and understand.
