how dificult is it?

help i have the chance to buy an old windsor banjo in need of some repair nothing major mostly cosmetic, as i have years repairing old wooden boats and engineering exp. is it worth the effort or is it too much bother can get it for about £60 -70 quid looks not a bad project.

Hi Nicholas, you can do it fairly easy mate, but in my oppinion the price would stand better at £50, still give it a go, you may find you would like to take on more restoration  projects!

nicholas, i would say give it a go. working on them and building them is fairly easy, its the fine tuning and slight adjustments that is a real pain. youll be constantly second guessing yourself.  just remember to try the simplest things first before you do something you cant undo. also, you can always ask for suggestions here. plenty of knowledgable people on this site.

didnt know that. actually, i had a dog that was half rotwieller and half doberman. wonderful dog!!!
