What will I do with my time? So much has passed and there might be many years before me. I have wasted so much time neglecting what is important. I feel burdoned knowing there was so much I should have done differently. If I could only....
I can't go backwards to undo anything. The book that is my life only has pages that turn forward. If I go forward without learning anything from my errors then I am foolish, destined to make the same mistakes again. Looking back I see some scenes that I can not believe were played out.
If I can be of service and lift the spirits of those who are down why would I not? If I can show love freely and without prejudice, shouldn't I? Kind words of appreciation is a mighty medicine we all need. Giving thoughts and prayers cut through hate like a sword.
Don't let me be timid with my affection. Let me express my admiration and respect. If there be any question let me always give the benifit of doubt. Thinking the best and forgiving the worse Don't let me expect more from others than myself. Don't let me set higher standards for others I have not met. Let me be a friend.

Very, very wise thoughts, Darrell. Why do we hold back so much from others? Knowing our own weaknesses, why are we so harsh on other people? Ever since my Mom died 7 years ago, I have been trying to give more freely and joyfully. I think I have grown, but there is so much more to learn.

You know the answer. Our prior chapters are written, edited, and set to print, though the final chapters have yet to be put to pen. Like any best seller the ending is never what you thought it was going to be.

Darrell, not many people don't have something in their life that they wish they had done differently. You don't dwell on those things because you can't change it. Your life is a blank page.

Thanks to all of you my good friends. There is nothing like a close call to make someone look at the bigger picture. I'm glad you all are in it.
