A week from tomorrow, I'll be up in Argyle with a carload of instruments and related items jamming with Pete & Joan Wernick, Dennis Bailey and at least 15 other fellow campers. This will be my second year attending the camp. Last year was a ton of fun and I could not wait to sign up for this year's camp. In fact, Pete told me I was the first to sign up for the camp. I hope to be better equipped for camp this time. Last year, I showed up not very well prepared and too shy about singing. Pete helped me get out of my shyness about singing, although I never sang loud enough to satisfy him. I learned how to follow others in a jam. I had a lot of fun learning with my fellow campers. This year, I hope to build on what I learned last year and add to that the experiences I have managed to accumulate since then. I feel a lot more confident about singing and I have learned a lot of good stuff I can use in jams this time around. I hope to make much larger contributions to the whole group this time around, but I still realize I have a lot more to learn and I hope some of the campers I get to jam with will have some good tips and tricks to share with me. My head is just spinning with excitement.
I'll post updates to my blog as time permits.

I've never been to Pete's camps but am satisfied that he is very competent and should be fun to learn from. I'll look forward to seeing you afterwards at Argyle for your thoughts.
