RIP to my sister Debbie Syzdek of Philly, PA

Posted by Jon Eric on Sunday, February 15, 2009

After flying to Philly, PA- I was fortunate enough to be with my sister Debbie
and her family through her difficult yet too quick fight with Ovarian Cancer.
Debbie passed on @ 4:28pm on 2/8/09.

Debbie's life was and will continue to be such an inspiration
to those lives she touched in the areas she lived.
A huge pillar with husband Joe in the Mennonite Church (WPMF),
as well as surrounding Philadelphia community.
Debbie's loss will be felt the world over.

But through her life she lived, loved, and humor which showed
an unwavering diligence through  reaching people on
common ground
.

My personal greatest musical influence, sister, and friend.
showing me in my brief time in Philly that will continue to be a
life long pursuit toward the dreams and goals I feel drawn toward.

I am grateful to have been called her brother.
Greatly missed here- but very much loved forever.
Rest in peace Debbie.
I love you.

Jon,  my heart goes out to you and your family.  I have experianced a very similar loss with a sister that was only 51 years old and also a wonderful person.  It is very tough for us to look for the good in such losses.  Their inspiration and love will remain with us both now and forever.  Hang tough Jon and pic on my friend.
