Congratulations! I've been down that path, and it's a good one, mostly, for awhile. Umm. . . ok, I'll shut up now.

Thanks, folks! You know, my eldest turns 41 this year...that means if the newcomer grows up and leaves my house at 18, and if I can just stay above ground until I'm 80, I will have had kids at home for 59 consecutive years!
Who knows, with all this practice, one of these days I may just get it right!

Congratulations, you mad, brave person. On the other hand, think of all the practising you can get done on those many sleepless mights. I hope you have a good mute. I hope all goes well this time.

Hey Zepp:
Love the new avatar :-) You know, I was soooo happy when my kids FINALLY left home, but now I really like to have them stay. I would LOVE to have a little kid around the place. Congratulations!

Congratulations to both of you! One of my best friends, and his brother & sister, were all very latecomers to their parents. His father was retired by the time we were very young, and I never saw a happier family. His Dad was quite successful, but they cut way back on buying toys after the kids showed up- it was way cool to go over and play with all the old wire recorders, football gear, etc. when I was a kid. But you have walls full of the coolest kid stuff ever! regards, Stanger

Congrats. Just think, you can take her in to work and babysit with her listening to Bluegrass everyday. What a life for both of you.
