My soul she took,
She took him away with love,
So I’ll walk away and not look back
To another time, another place, another where.
Walking through the trees,
No one else there.
I still feel him
But he’s looking the other way, without care.
He wears his heart on his sleeve
Ready to take love that comes his way
But he is too ready to take
Some other life without shame.
My soul she took
She took him away with love
So I’ll walk away and not look back
To another time, another place, another where.
He knows I still love
With all my heart, flesh and soul
Yet he walks away, blinded by the light of some other life.
My soul she took,
She took him away with love,
So I’ll walk away and not look back
To another time, another place, another where.
Some other life took him away,
But who am I to judge?
She took him away with love,
So I’ll walk away and not look back
To another time, another place, another where.

Great poem. Great poetry comes from great hurts.
If you're not familar with the Song "Love Hurts", check it out.
I first heard it by the Everly Brothers, but my favourite version is by Gram Parsons. Emmy Lou Harris has a good version too.

Time always heals. Perhaps in the forest there hides away a lonely broken figure not wishing to bring upon you hurt. Always watching over your welbeing, even though he being strong fears traversing the boundaries of sin. One who solely believes in his past, present and future, that to which he is betrothed. He is defined at heart in words of promise he never to break. He asks nothing of not one sole but prepared to give all to those true. Perhaps he is lost these long and many years and cant find the way back up on himself.
