Just a note to let folks know that Mary Henderson (the sweetie) and I have now done bit the bullet and put our CD's up on CD BABY. Kansas Dancing, 1997, is there now, and Prairie Smoke will be within the week.
Prairie Smoke, 1994, has 4 cover tunes of old time country music, two instrumentals I wrote, and the rest Mary wrote.
Kansas Dancing has 5 written by our friend Kenny Cornell from Broken Arrow, OK, three instrumentals I wrote, and the rest Mary wrote.
Bound for Nacogdoches is due out early 2009 - we have one session left to get recorded - and will also be available on CD BABY. It will contain some of the banjo and guitar instrumental material I have put up here in the past, with a host of wonderful players from the Twin Cities area. As you might expect, I am inclined to encourage any and all to look into getting as many of these as you care to.
TO ALL HERE AT THE HANGOUT, PARTICULARLY THE MANAGEMENT, I WOULD LIKE TO OFFER A HEART FELT THANK YOU FOR THIS PAST YEAR, AND WISH EVERYONE A HAPPY AND JOYOUS HOLIDAY SEASON. I I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO SUGGEST THAT EACH AND EVERY ONE OF US DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO PROMOTE LOVE AND HARMONY IN THE UPCOMING YEAR THROUGHOUT THIS TROUBLED AND DANGEROUS PLANET WE INHABIT. PERHAPS BY GATHERING OUR SPIRITS AND ENERGY INTO THIS THOUGHT, WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
PEACE,
Geoff and Mary

Hey, I like the shirt. One that bright should bring cheer all year.
Not joking, I have 30 or so too, and that's about as close to dressed up I
get these days. Sunday best included, unless it's a "western" event.
