Been trading emails with a supposed buyer that seemed fishy and after giving my name and address for the sale he wanted to send his shipping co to pick it up and drop off a cashiers check . ……. All the bells and whistles went off for me and I sent an email cancelling the sale stating that I thought he is a scammer and I would not accept any form of payment and not allow access to the banjo . I tried to click on the link in the email to turn in the scammer buy it doesn’t work stating that I must be logged in to use the link. Tried everything but it doesn’t work? Anything else I need to do ? I tried to send emails to the address listed but they won't go through . The only emails that go through are the bho address emails

Give us his username and we'll check it out and lock his account.
In the future, if you think you have a spammer, you can log on the Hangout and make an admin. report or, if for some reason you can't do that,contact one of the mods and we'll do our best to take care of the problem.

Thank you. He was locked out 7/30 as a spammer from the UK. I didn't have a reason then to put him on my spammers locked out sticky (which is mainly for spammers selling/buying banjos and accessories) but now I do and he's on the list.
That's another way you can check to see if someone's a spammer: look on the Swap Shop forum under Spammers Locked Out Each Day and see if his/her name is on there.
