I'll be teaching at Mars Hill this June. If you are new to clawhammer banjo, join us for a week of classes, jamming, concerts, and pretty darn good food. We will focus on bringing the right hand to life along with several left hand techniques to get that old time sound. Focusing on the fundamentals, we will fill your tool box with useful techniques to grow on your banjo journey and have some fun along the way. Learn more here.

Blue Ridge Old Time Music Week at Mars Hill is always a great learning experience and a wonderful atmosphere to jam with others, hear great music from the instructors and soak up the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I plan to be there.
