I have a Bart Reiter Galax I plan on selling. I have to thin things down. It is stock and in excellent shape, no scratches or dings. Any advice on what might be a fair price, being used? They sell new for $1495 at Elderly, and I haven't seen any ones that have sold, so I'm not sure what the going price might be.

The competitive landscape for these type of used open back banjos seems to have settled around $1100-$1250. Mostly because there are many of them for sale. The Galax has a Whyte Laydie tone ring, right? Assuming good hard shell case is included.
