Hi--I have never played this Ken Bloom built --4 string Cello Banjo because my 5-string Cello Banjo arrived first and I began playing it and never had the time to learn this one. But it should be played by a 4 string player--its tuned like a cello and played with a flatpick. It would be really fun for celtic playing.
