Working on a tab (first time in TablEdit). Got the tab with right-hand fingering in and good-to-go. Want to add the chord symbols above the tab. I have the first note in the tab selected and right-click and go to the text manager. When I insert the chord symbol the note (and related right-hand fingering) go away. Another symbol appears where the tabbed note was BUT the chord symbol is there. How can I get the chord symbol to appear without losing the tabbed note and fingering? I've read through the help files in TablEdit and on some older discussion here on the Hangout. Still not got it. Kindly requesting help on this. Thanks ahead.

With your song open in the Tabledit program, go to File /Options /Display Tab (on top). Make sure you check the box for Automatic chord diagrams and click Apply at the bottom.
Be sure to save the song when done so the changes stay in place.

Also: Tabledit Capo and Tuning
Open Tabledit and click File /New to start a new song tab. Then before you put in any notes.......
Go to Score / Instrument from the main menu on top and click the Tuning tab on top in the next window.
Select your tuning preference and then check the capo settings too. If you are going up 2 with the capo, remember you need to set the capo 5th right below for 7.
