This week's featured tune was originally written by Dan Tyminski and Ronnie Bowman, and as far as I can tell the first recorded version of it was Dan playing it on an album called "Mandolin Artistry Volume 1: The Young Mando Monsters."



So it was originally a mandolin tune--but Sammy Shelor heard it and released it (with Dan) on Sammy's "Leading Roll" album.



It's a fun tune, with the flatted 3rd sound and the chord holding on the B part. Typically played in the key of A.

And now here it is a little bit slower.  *grin* I love that Casey Henry, met her once at IBMA, and she's still the same, so great.  Music loves her.  Great tune, great presentation, Eric, all of it!
