Here's my latest upload to archive.org where I'm archiving some of my live performance recordings.
This set is a favourite of mine from 2013. Matt Elliott & I had a great spot, just before the very popular Perch Creek Family Jug Band (promoter & performer Jimmy Willing knows how to put on a show). I was pretty keen to hear what my banjo sounded like accompanied by Matt's washboard - I don't remember the circumstances, but we didn't get an opportunity to rehearse before the gig, so we dived in. The first five songs of the set (after Jimmy Willing's intro) feature the banjo accompanied by washboard & percussion: 1) Oh my little darlin', 2) Cumberland Gap, 3) The Cuckoo Bird, 4) Pretty Polly & 5) Darlin' Cora. I was pretty happy with how the banjo/washboard combo worked out!
