Folks,



I cataloged the Aquila banjo string gauges.  See attached file.  Data for sets 1B through 7B were obtained from vendor web sites.  For the 11B RED series, I bought a micrometer and measured a new unused set myself.  Couldn’t find that data on the web.  This was a nice science project!



Footnotes:




  1. I’m sure all the measurements are “approximate.”  I saw that mentioned in several places on the web and BHO.

  2. I saw conflicting data between a couple of vendor web sites for the same string series.

  3. For measuring the RED series, I made several measurements in different places.

I went through the same exercise not too long ago. It'd be nice if the Aquilla website would list that info...
