This was from the album The Bridge.

The playing of Jens Kruger has been an inspiration to me. I don't usually try to work out his tunes, but this one has been a favorite and I certainly did learn a lot in the process. One thing I learned was that I can't play like Jens Kruger!

Whew, that looks like it was a lot of work.....well done, it would be nice to have a tune like that under my belt when someone ask me to play something for them......

Thanks T - unfortunately, tunes like this don't stay under my belt very long. Unless I play them every day, I tend to forget them quite quickly.

that's an incredibly moving piece of music on the banjo. excecuted to perfection. i've never heard of jens kruger, so i'm looking forward to checking him out and learning more about him.

Beautiful playing, Laurence!!  A very classical piece and yet you still have a way of putting your own touch to the song.

I would have to learn and play that song, and that song only, for about a year before I could remember where all the notes were. I don't know how you do it but I'm glad you do Thanks for sharing.
