I have never done this before, but I decided to scrape the audio off my video version of this I did a while back, add some guitar and dress it up a bit. If you want to see me play it, it is still in my vids but I think this sounds better.

Outstanding, Laurence!!! Very clean recording. Nice and clear and that banjo sounds awesome. I also like the guitar back up.

Yep Janet, that's some pretty strong language!

I used to live in WV and NC when I was younger and I must admit that I did imbibe some - er...product a time or two! Hangover pretty much guaranteed, but had fun getting there.Hopefully this tune reflects the upside of the experience!

I find that reinstalling FLASH, online, fixes many video issues. Maybe it will work for you.

A huge, rich, fat banjo sound - musically and sonically. It's amazing you're getting that level of recorded sound originating from a camcorder. This is one of the few recordings, in my experience, where the guitar actually adds, not subtracts, from the sound of the banjo. You've allowed the banjo full room to breath, with the guitar almost a subliminal influence. Great music. Great recording.

Wow - thanks for saying all the nice things, I think I went up a hat size!

As far as the "master" comments (which I appreciate) does anybody ever master the banjo? I feel like I have been trying to for 40 years - never quite get there, but fun trying! Still trying to tame the beast...

Paul: I use the same mic for my video recordings as my sounds files, which is the built in stereo condensor mic in the Zoom. Obviously not an expensive mic but it seems to get good results.
