I went to the Seldom Scene and Lou Reid&Carolina concert last night in Burlington, Ontario, what a great show. They played for about 4 hours combined (Lou Reid in both bands). I was amazed how smooth Ben Eldrige came into the breaks and splitting breaks with the dobro player. Ben was nice enough to discuss his Gibson ESS with me during intermission as comfortably as if we were old friends.
Anyone else go to this?

It was at the Burlington Legion and has been advertised since about January.
Where and when are Krugers playing?

Only in the bluegrass wastelands of Ontario do you have one night with THREE shows on the calendar....
Lou Reid and Carolina/Seldom Scene..Burlington
Shane Cook...London
The Lonesome River Band..Emeryville
We headed for The LRB...closer to us, and..ITS THE LRB!!!!!
..but I really wanted to see Lou Reid....so many bands, so little time.

....and for those of us into clawhammer we had Bob Carlin and Chris Coole playing together at Folkway Music in Guelph last night. An amazing and thoroughly entertaining show! I don't know why it is that we in Southern Ontario are getting so many top notch acts performing in our area lately but I'm sure not complaining!

OK, so I see Krugers are playing in Kingston, Hamilton, Toronto, London and Peterborough.
