That's one site that's always loaded really fast, never a problem but ..... apparently now they're down.

I wonder who they ticked off?

nobody. Site is alive. Like all popular websites, including this one, there is the occasional service outage. such outages rarely last long.

Drudge rhymes with sludge. Perhaps it got sludgy.

I understand that several Tri-Lateral Commission black helicopters landed on the roof of their corporate headquarters, and discharged a platoon of UNESCO spec ops forces, who promptly stormed the building and took over the place. From now on, all U.S. submissions will have to be approved by editorial staff assigned to David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger, Paul Volker, and Strobe Talbott.

It reloads often and maybe that is what happened. I check it every day several times since he has scooped the traditional news media sites before. I've been thinking there is not as much original material as early on there. Mostly a links clearing house now.

I used to check out that site occassionally and found that his directory of credible news sites and links to other journalists were helpful. Also fun Hollywood entertainment gossip. However he posted too many rumors, half-truths and out of context rubbish under the guise of "news" for me.(usually those headlines of misinformation disappeared without comment within a day or so....it was kind of comical). He is good at tracking hurricanes and bad weather systems - but the last place I would go seeking factual information.
