I don't often discuss my private life publicly, but today me and my beautiful wife, Jessica lost our baby. We went to get an ultrasound and there was a perfectly developing baby. You could see the head, arms, legs, feet, even tiny little fingers. Unfortunately the heart had stopped beating. Please send your prayers. I wish I could have met you, little one. Your mom and I love you very much. You are in God's hands now. We'll meet someday.

Am truly sorry to hear that, David.
It's a heartache now, but you'll see "the little one" later, forever.

David, my heart breaks for you and your wife. I have a friend here who has gone through the same thing. Know that you are not alone - others have experienced the pain of losing a child. It helps me when I know I am not the only one who has ever felt this way. Our prayers are going up for you and your loved ones. Is there a support group anywhere near you that you could go to? Your little one is not gone forever, just waiting for you on the other side.

You are in my thoughts and prayers! I can imagine the heartbreak. There were some close calls when my late wife was pregnant with my Emily, but thank God, they both made it!!! I was afraid I would lose them both at one point!

You and your wife are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so sorry.

David.....I'm really sorry.

But please know that this is not an uncommon thing.

Many years ago, my wife had a miscarriage. It was our first attempt. We were told that this was not uncommon. At the time I think we were told that this happens in one out of four times.

One year (to the day) after her miscarriage, we had our first baby. We named her Jessica, btw.

Just remember that most things that happen, happen for a reason.

Very sorry to hear this, David. Prayers are on the way for you & Jessica. Time will ease the initial pain, but a piece of your hearts will always think of that little one. We still do, 35 years later, and I think perhaps that memory is somehow the right thing.

Hi David-

I am incredibly saddened by this news.

I was so happy for you and Jessica having gotten married recently, and excited for the two of you "newlyweds" and our new aquaintance and friendship, and now, today, to find out about this....it makes me feel like one of my friends has just died even though I've never met you or Jessica in person, and of course, none of us has met your baby...yet.

I and my wife Christy will be praying for you and Jessica.

We are so sorry. I hope that you and Jessica can trust God through this, and someday, we will all know why.

Me and my house will be praying for you and Jessica.

Please know that my prayers are with you. Don't hesitate to reach out to others for support and comfort during this time.

Our second pregnancy resulted in a miscarriage, and we'll always wonder about what might have been. We have two healthy boys now, and we are very thankful for them, but we look forward to meeting our other child someday too.

What a devistating loss. Always remember that God holds us all in the palm of His hand and, as the song "Man of Constant Sorrow" says ".....but there is one promise that's given, I'll met you on God's golden shore." May God bless you and be with you all during these trying times. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

David..I dont know if there is anything sadder and more disappointing than the loss of an unborn child. We get our hopes and dreams all in order, then they're gone. Unfortunately, these are the trials of becoming parents. Give it time and you will be blessed with the gift of a child.

You're all in our prayers.

David, I have been in the same situation, but our kids were twins. I long to see them in heaven. I am praying for you and your wife. May God give you His peace that surpasses all understanding.

Sometimes there are no adequate words.

I pray that the Lord bless you both, and keep you both, and give you both peace.
