Here's a free download of "Cluck Old Hen" on a cigarbox banjo.
From looking at pix in the Florida archives--there are pix of early mass produced banjos and homemade cigar box banjos in early Florida--but don't see any pix of gourd banjos. Maybe because most folks don't grow gourds in Florida, but we had a very early cigar industry with lots of discarded wood cigar boxes. :)
