The perfect pitch capo did not work for me. If adjusted as per instruction it reduced the sustain of the strings. If I tightened it to get sustain back, then I had to retune. I also found its size and position on the fretboard interfered with my left hand. Because of shipping costs I didn't bother to return it and just took the loss. Try before you buy.

Good quality nickel plated brass tailpiece. Very reasonable price from Stew-Mac, $34.00 plus shipping. Looks great on my Gold Tone BG250F and really improved the sound. Sounds like a great bluegrass banjo now. I highly recommend this tailpiece as a replacement for the poor quality Gold Tone tailpiece.

Guitarology is an Ebay store operated by Dean Johnson's music store in Florida. I purchased a brand new Gold Tone BG250F blem with a small discoloration on the headstock with case. I saved over $100.00 compared to unblemished. Service was good. The store owner spoke directly with me when I phoned, and answered e-mails quickly. Banjo was shipped FedEx the day after Paypal payment and arrived in Georgia two days later. I recommend checking them out on Ebay for some deals.
