Got my Mike's Banjo Mute in the mail yesterday, only 3 days after I ordered it, and I am amazed at the sound. It greatly reduces the volume, but doesn't muffle it. The sound is very warm and nice. With this I can be able to practice at night also. I have also used the Iucci mute, which is good, but Mike's is better. I saw the mute in action in a video: http://youtu.be/c-O_dsniThA
So I bought it; works as well as in the video. Definitely suggest getting one of these.
