I just got the chance to test out my new mute from Mike. I am extremely happy with this purchase and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good mute. I have bought a number of mutes in the past and have not been very taken by any of them until now. Every other mute always produced a buzzing in some of the strings which drove me crazy when practicing. I have not encountered that with this mute. It allows me to play as hard as I want to and I still get a clear sound and do not disturb the neighbors.
Yes, it does cost just a bit more than most other mutes on the market but it is well worth it. I have not found a better sounding mute out there,
