Excellent value, 100 popular tunes tabbed out in very straight-forward, Scruggs style format. All song tabs can be seen (left and right hand) separately at www.seanray.com ... Sean was very prompt and helpful sending material and in reply to questions regarding tabs. The only "con" comment would be that it would be helpful to have right hand finger notation on tab for more technical licks.

Absolutely the best experience I have ever had in selecting and purchasing a new instrument! Took all the time I needed to have questions answered ... patient with my "Him-Hawing" around. Their interest was solely on me being satisfied with my purchase and not trying to just sell me an instrument. Refreshing! Kept me informed of the status of delivery, set up of my new Sullivan V35 Maple was done exactly as I specified. Mark (General Manager) was great to deal with and helped me place a value on the Gibson RB250 I'm selling.

Sound

Sound is very full with a distinct brightness. Consistent tone, clarity and volume up the neck. Great acoustic volume.

Appearance

Beautiful finish. I chose the speed neck because I live in south Florida where the humidity is very high. On a lacquered neck the humidity can cause the neck to be very sticky. There is a protection on the wood but no lacquer. The appearance is pretty striking as well.

Made very well and has a great feel ... balanced. This will most likely be the last banjo I ever own.

Customer Service

Banjo.com was superb! Information given to me on the phone was reliable and they had all the time I needed to ask specific questions. When I flew up to Atlanta to see and play the banjo they welcomed me, took time to speak with me and let me sit and play as long as I wanted to. They weren't pushy, they made me feel as though my satisfaction with the banjo I selected was their first concern, not the sell. Honest.
