Tony Trischka's new book, Master Collection of Fiddle Tunes for Banjo, published by Mel Bay, is exellent. The tunes themselves range from the old, traditional Appalachian fiddle tunes (P.D.) to straight-ahead bluegrass/newgrass to Celtic, and the playing styles presented in tablature include Scruggs, melodic, and single string styles. Highly recommended if you like fidde tunes. Great job, Tony!
