It is the most comfortable thumb pick I have ever used. The adjustable band makes it easy to get a personal fit. There is a learning curve due to the pick surface being more to the side of the thumb than the bottom but in less than 5 minutes I was loving the feel and tone of this thumb pick. This is now my go to thumb pick when I play. They are more than worth the price.

I play 3 finger style. I personally like a little more of a mellow sound and this fits the bill.

The banjo was set up for me after answering a few questions about how I like to play. I haven't had to make any changes.

It is a Helix cherry rim that I had stained red. The neck is a goldtone with the head cut with the Helix head shape. The red rim just stands out.

Mr. Hill talked to me on the phone for hours answering all my questions and was quick to respond to e-mails. Have not had any trouble to get repaired but as of now do not see that it would be a problem.

Being an open back and light weight it has plenty of volume. So far people that have heard it seem to like the tone.
