I just got my second banjo, and getting a second Mike's Mute was a no brainer. It's so easy to put on and off, that using just the one I already had on both banjos would have worked fine, but having one for each instrument is a nice convenience. This product does exactly what it says it will do. It's extremely well made, durable, easy to use and effective. An absolute 10 out of 10 and must have product for anyone who ever has a need to play at anything less than full volume. Competing products don't come close to the quality of Mike's Mute.

Perfectly simple, effective and easy to use. Cuts volume significantly, and softens the overall sound of my banjo. Compared to the gold tone mute, Mike's is much easier to put on and off without moving the bridge around, and applies even pressure across the bridge which was never quite possible with my previous mute. Must have accessory for anyone needing to practice quietly on a regular basis.
