I took lessons from Victor some years ago. The lessons were very good, and provided a firm, basic, knowledge of traditional style bluegrass. Victor was a teacher with a relaxing, soothing, laid back personality. His explanation is straightforward and clear, and he will help you learn any song you are interested in, or any topic you choose, as well as offering a good curiculum complete with tablature if you are not looking so much to be self directed. He can answer just about any music theory question too. The lessons served me very well, and I have gotten to the point of being able to play in local bands. Highly reccomend this teacher!
