Just received Mike's great Mute "Downunder" in Canberra Australia! Great sound and really mutes the banjo but still sounds terrific so that I can keep practicing with or without picks. Now have a happy wife as I am only a beginner and she and the neighbourhood don't have to continue to listen to me practising! Would definitely recommend this mute and the great customer service from Mike. February 2017 - P.S. Just bought my 2nd mute from Mike to save keep swapping it across Banjos :) Works really well just like the previous one and our two beagles now come into the music room whilst I am practising! These mutes are lot better than the Deering ones (sorry guys) and really work and the banjo's stay in tune :). Really fast postage from the states too.
