I've just started learning the banjo and needed to be able to reduce the volume when practicing so that I wouldn't be banished to the kitchen! I read a few reviews and Mike's Banjo Mute sounded like the best option. The mute arrived in about a week from the USA to UK. My banjo now has a similar volume to an unplugged electric guitar. Tim
