After a lot of deliberation and reading reviews i decided to go for Mike's Banjo Mute. I've just picked up the banjo recently and was told by my wife and daughter that my next purchase should be the best mute on the market! I'd heard various recording of it in action on line but stil wasn't too sure; however, from what I'd read of the reviews it sounded top notch. The mute arrived super quick despite being shipped from USA to UK and Mike's store kept me informed of the dispatch etc. I can't recommend it highly enough (nor can my wife!) as my banjo now has a similar volume to an unplugged electric guitar, which means I get my much needed practice and my wife gets her much needed beauty sleep (joke Mrs B - not that you're gonna be reading this!).
