This Cheepy Banjo Put threm all to shame high end and low. no one in the band wants me to play my new gibson. they want to here that
madeira. I found when setting it up. eg neck postion and tension that once everything was in place ajusting the single rod for for rim and boby roundness would bring out the sound BIG time
Sound Rating: 10
yes the guy at the music shop did have it set up rather well the action
could have been a litte lower. I tried to do this myself and got a buzz.
took it back to him and he fixed it more to my likeing and explained the prosses to me so I was able to do it for myself .the single rod is the big drawback. the neck will never be stiff enough to stop some waw waw
effect.you cant put presure on the neck when playing that herts

Great looking banjo large block mother of pearl inlay on the fretboard
looks like a Gibson. you can see wood grain under the high gloss varnish inlay double ring on back of res. the tone ring and pot are one
solid alum.No proublems here except the ding in the machine head and I did that
Appearance Rating: 8
This Is not a ford it will hold up it's that dam heck having only one rod
connected with the single rod pinned in the neck. why go and make a banjo like this and then hook the neck so poorly. the could have been the best banjo out there. it would have never competed with the looks of a washburn B-17 but it would stand up to it's sound and maybe kick it's ass in that dept.I gess it is a ford he he. if not for the neck connect
it would be a 20
