Why are some tabs running horizontally in Tabledit? Is there a way to convert these tabs to show Vertically?
Its in preferences ai think. Line view vs page view. You can also turn notation on and off there. Sorry i cant be more specific but I dont have my computer available. That hopefully gets uou pointed in the right direction.
In the Preferences -- accessed one way with the check-box button in the row of buttons above the ruler and below the title bar. Click the first, leftmost, button ("General" - looks like a light switch). Very first option in this window willl be Line Mode (horizontal) or Page Mode (vertical).
You can also get to the Preferences in the menu bar: TablEdit > Preferences... Or with a key-combination. On a Mac it's Command+comma. I imagine in Windows it's Control+comma.
Thanks to all. For me it was in FILE - OPTIONS - GENERAL - then Line Mode or Page Mode. Now I just hope I can remember that next time I need to make a change
