i'm seeing that when someone replies to a classified i have listed that it no longer goes to my email as an email...all i see is a red bar at the top of the hangout site that says i have a private message..so when i respond to that message then the whole message goes away and i cannot access that message again...and it is as if theperson interested in my listing never gets a message from me...do anyone know if something has changed? and why it does not go straight to my email as it always has?....also when i try to post to the moderator forum it says that i don't have access to that forum?!?
I don't know why you couldn't post a mod report. I've never had that problem posted before. Maybe something Eric can look into.
As far as getting a notice you have a PM while on the Hangout, it's always been that way. If you're not on the Hangout, then the message goes to your e-mail. I believe the message is up for 15 minutes and then disappears and appears as an e-mail.
If you click on "You Have a Private Message", at the bottom of the message there's a little box that says "send to my e-mail". If you check that box, it will be delivered to your e-mail. If you do not click that box, it's automatically deleted.
i guess as long as i've been on the hangout i have never noticed it up untill maybe a couple weeks ago..and when i noticed it i clicked on it and responded to hangout members wanting to buy something but i never hear back from them....i even did what you said once about sending it to my email and i have gotten no email..weird!!
