I'm wondering if Frank Lee is still active or if maybe he's retired. I've looked in all the typical places to the degree my skills allow, but I don't find anything recent by him. I'm not trying to contact him, just wondering what became of him. He was/is one of my favorite singers and players, and he always seemed to come up with wonderful obscure material.
He is alive and kickin' in the Bryson City area of North Carolina. He is one Facebook, that's where I see him these days. He is still picking as far as I know.
The Freight Hoppers sure were a great, hard-driving, old-time band; and Frank's
solo/duet work was excellent as well. Glad to hear he's still at it.
Thanks for the responses. I'm glad to know Frank's still around.
