I have an early 2000's Sierra and the case has gone caput. Handle broke first and then the hinges.

What are the best aftermarket cases y'all can recommend for Deerings? Currently the one at the top of my list is a Crossrock fiberglass case, but would love to know if there's something else out there I haven't seen yet.

Thanks y'all!

I like the Superior CD-1535.

I've got several cases from the common brands and the TKL 'LTD' are notably higher quality than the rest. That's the version with the dome/arch top rather than flat.

I've got the cheaper flat top TKL case for my Sierra. No complaints.

If you're flying with a banjo, or on the road a lot with it, consider a fiberglass or carbon fiber case, a Calton or similar brand. Otherwise any solid wood case will do fine. Best to get a dome top case rather than a flat top case. Heavier plies of wood are perhaps better than fewer plies.

If you're not traveling a lot you might consider a high quality gig bag. Lighter, easily stored, and ideal for older folks.

A Hoffee- hard, flight case is the last case you'll ever need/buy...but dig deep my friend.
