Hi Hangout members,
I'm looking for the person who responded to the above ad. They had sent a response to my private message box that did not show up in my regular email.
When I saw it in my message box on the Hangout, I clicked to respond and it said "message sent" without letting me answer--I'm sure it was something I did wrong!
I sent a message to Eric to see If I could retrieve it, but in the meantime if the person interested could contact me again I can respond !

Based on my own experience, you should check your email’s junk folder. Good luck.
If the person you contacted got back a blank reply, he will probably try again figuring something happened.
Your PM may have been deleted if you just hit reply and didn't write anything first.
As said above, check your spam/junk mail and see if it could have gone there.

Hi Sherry and Brian,
I checked in spam and trash to no avail. My fault is that I didn't notice the private messages in the top the Hangout page. I had thought all replies to my ads would just go to my personal email.
But it appears that a private message just goes to the Hangout messages and not to my email !
Two other people had said they emailed me and I didn't see the messages until they contacted me through my email as a response to my ad and not a "private message".
So after all this I know to check my private messages on the top of the Hangout front page as well as my email.
And Sherry , I also hope the person who responded with a private message will see my blank response and contact me again.

Hopefully, that person will see your thread and contact you again or maybe contact a mod complaining that you didn't answer his PM and we can get you two together again.
