I bought this banjo a few weeks ago from an individual in Ohio.
The neck and resonator look very old. The seller said the rim was from a 1950s TB-100.
The rim was cut for a StewMac no-hole tone ring at some point.
I thought I would post photos here in hopes that more persons would be able to give me a better idea what I have.
