I acquired an S.S. Stewart Universal Favorite today and noticed that the neck is crooked on the pot (like, slightly sideways). The dowel also appears to be equally as crooked. I know I need to be careful with 130 wood but does anyone know how to rectify thing and get it straight on the pot? I’ll add pictures soon! Thank you.

Loosen the brace that holds the dowel on the pot and twist the neck until it's level. Then, tighten the brace back to its original tension. You might have to loosen the tailpiece holder as well, then retighten it.
