Any particular style of bridges preferred for ITM? 2 footed? 3 footed? Lighter? Heavier? Taller? Shorter? Radiused feet?
When I got my 1926 TB3, it had the ren head slunk way down at 80, and a taller 2 footed bridge. I think it was a grover someone had glued some feet "extensions" on to get it up to 7/8"ish. I thought that was quite a weird setup, but it seemed to kinda work.
Right now I have a Ritchie Dotson 5/8" (standard) on there where I've rounded that top corner with a sanding block. Same head at like 86. Seems to suit me better. I should probably weigh it as a reference before I go tinkering on this.
On my 5 string years ago I upgraded to a nechville bridge and couldn't believe how big a difference that made. I may try a tenor bridge of his next. Either that or some cheap grovers and start tinkering with them.
