Anybody have any ideas about this banjo ? Looks like a cheapie but for the peghead shape. There is no pic of the back. Thanks

By the machine heads position, lack of doodads... and if the fretboard is dyed...
This might be representative of the 50's folk boom instrument , and it could possibly be called some type of a "Rambler" banjo.
Today's Recording King Dirty 30's might a comoarable design.

Looks like a lower-end Chicago-made banjo. Maybe Lyon &. Healy. Also looks as if it could be a plectrum that someone just stuck a 5th-string peg in. My read: wall-hanger.
